The head fades over a moderate level of time to leave a decent level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Hopefully, I'll get a fresher example someday, but it's pretty good even now, despite being around 4 months old. I imagine it's an outstanding WCIPA when fresh. Medium bodied, with a moderately oily but crisp mouthfeel. Somewhat pithy bitterness in the back end, finishing dry. Thin, crackery malt aroma as well.įruit forward, with a subordinate maltiness that's a little more dominant in the taste than in the nose, but not to a troubling degree. Nose is quite hoppy, reminiscent of citrus and tropical fruits.

This probably had better clarity when more fresh. Poured into a teku, this was a deeply chill-hazed tangerine color, with a good sized beige colored head. According to the stamp on the bottom of the can, this was canned on May 21, 2020. Apparently, ge eas recently gifted a 6er of this from a friend who was over in Idaho (ME has a second brewery in Nampa, Idaho). 12oz can received via the generosity of my friend, Jason, who is originally from the home location of Mother Earth and has drank many pints of this beer.
